Notes: According to Ken Raymer's Web Page, Abraham Raymer was a farmer by profession. He and his family moved from Bowling Green, Kentucky to Carter County Missouri sometime around 1855. His son Isaac "joined the Union forces" during the Civil War and was wounded at the Battle of Pilot Knob. "One winter night, Abraham went to the barn to see what was disturbing the livestock. He never returned. It is believed he was killed by Southern sympathizers. His body was never found."
