The Barrett Family's relationship to the Scarborough Family is through the marriage of Linda Carol Brannon to Gregory Thomas Barrett. Linda's mother is Ethel Carol Dowdey who married Charles Nixon Brannon. Ethel's sister is Bernice Ruth Dowdey who married David C. Scarborough.
